Description: Join us for a live reading of
"How Many Fish in the Ocean",
lead by author and artist
Deborah Erlandson! Immediately
following the reading, stick
around to craft your own sea
creature! "How Many Fish in
the Ocean" is a counting book
that includes spatial
relations, language
development and of course
numbers on every colorful
page. Kids will have fun
finding fish behind rocks,
above waves, and in between
seaweed as they practice
counting and develop number
recognition. Deborah
Erlandson, Birmingham, MI, is
a preschool teacher, artist,
musician, and author of two
children's books. Her work has
been shown in the Detroit
Artists Market, and various
shops in the greater Detroit
area. Her presence was at
Albion's Cozy Up with Art for
13 years. She is a graduate of
Eastern Michigan University.
This event is included with
museum admission.
