Event: Earth Day Spans the Semester at Albion College

Description: The 50th anniversary of Earth
Day doesn't take place until
April, but Albion College
starts the celebration in
March, thanks to a major gift
from Bruce Harper, '67, and
his wife Jane. The Harpers
gave more than $100,000 to
Albion College for climate
change education and action,
and to commemorate Earth Day.

to the public. For more

Saturday, April 18
Earth Day Celebration
activities will include a
Whitehouse Nature Center
Trail walk, Trail Dedication,
a Kalamazoo River Clean up
and •Earth Day Story Time at
Sterling Books. Exact times
will be announced at a later
date.
