An Albion alumna and alumnus who have kept their ties to the College strong in unique ways will address the Class of 2019 at Commencement, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m. (processional at 12:45 p.m.) from the steps of Kresge Gymnasium on the Quadrangle.
Albion native Barbara Weiskittel, '83, began her career in sales and marketing for Parke-Davis Warner Lambert, then moved into global roles, including marketing in the Asia- Pacific region. She is currently Director, Scientific Leadership in the Diabetes Franchise, Global Human Health, for Merck and Co., Inc., in Kenilworth, N.J. Weiskittel has remained close to her alma mater and hometown, supporting such programs as Build Albion Fellows, Albion’s Big Read, downtown Albion redevelopment and the College's Foundation for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity.
Craig Rundle, , ’74, led the Britons football program as head coach for more than two decades and produced 187 victories before retiring after the 2018 season. Rundle was head coach at St. Mary’s College of California and Colorado College before returning to Albion, where he led the Britons to seven Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association championships and five NCAA Division III postseason appearances.
