It’s time for Albion’s instructors to have their turn to perform; the Albion College Music Department presents its first Faculty Recital for the fall semester starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, in Albion College Goodrich Chapel.
Vocal music professor Maureen Balke and instructor Elise Eden will be singing German folk songs by Johannes Brahms and an aria from Verdi’s La Traviata, respectively. “Sonata for Flute and Piano” by Francis Poulenc will be played by Marissa Olin; additionally, the clarinet instructor Anastasia Bonotto will perform “Introduction and Rondo, Op. 72” by Charles- Marie Widor. Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philip Telemann will have their trumpet concertos performed by Matthew Kay. All these performances will include Nicholas Laban, staff accompanist.
