In 2018, the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese Han calendar falls on September 24 – and with it, Albion College’s Asian Awareness Group invites the community to its first Mid- Autumn Festival. The event is set for 7 p.m. in the College’s science complex observatory, on the roof above the corner of Hannah Street and East Michigan Avenue.
AAG secretary San Pham notes that the Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated in many East Asian countries. For their event,, AAG will serve traditional Chinese moon cakes and observe the moon.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Pham at slp11@albion.edu.
