Description:

Socialize, garden with your neighbors
while you learn to properly prune, weed,
mulch, and water the plants of the
Collaborative Corner garden on Michigan
Ave. in Albion. Also, enjoy light
refreshments while you listen to a
reading of two of famous author and
scientist Rachel Carson's books from
1950's. You have a chance to win a copy.
Bring your own garden gloves and you are
welcome to bring your garden tools. This
is a free event hosted by Albion
District Library with support from the
White House Nature Center and members of
Albion's Community. No registration is
necessary.
